ADHD-friendly BBQ Chicken

The slow cooker BBQ chicken is super moist and juicy, cooked in its own delicious bbq sauce. This is going to be your  BEST chicken bbq dinners you can have.

This recipe is super simple to make, just put all the ingredients into the slow cooker, and let it do the magic. This BBQ chicken is perfect to serve with mashed potatoes and double-baked potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 bulb of garlic
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2/3 cup molasses
  • 1 pinch ground allspice
  • 2 tsp celery salt
  • 1 cup tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp horseradish
  • 10lbs chicken wings and drumettes of your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat slow cooker to high.
  2. Mince the garlic and finely dice the onion.
  3. Combine all ingredients except for chicken parts in slow cooker and mix well.
  4. Place the chicken parts in the slow cooker and turn to low, spooning sauce atop chicken to coat.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is very tender.
  6. Spoon sauce (you may not use it all) over chicken and serve.
  7. Save extra sauce to use as a tasty condiment.
